Thank You
Submitted By LL Administrator on Thursday, March 7, 2019
Greetings,

On behalf of the Muskoka Parry Sound Local League I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for helping make this past season the success that it was.

Each season has seen our league grow and continue to thrive. We, as an Executive are thrilled to continue to be able to provide fun, exciting co-ed hockey for the kids of our communities.

2018-19 saw a number of changes for us. Among them were some slight modifications to our “Championship Weekend”. By all accounts, the year end weekend provided some fast paced and very exciting hockey!! Thank you to all of the local volunteers that gave their time to help make the Championships a success and of course, congratulations to the following teams on bringing home either the MPSLL Cup (A Pool) or the MPSLL Trophy (B Pool);

NOVICE – South Muskoka Fitzmaurice Bros. Carpentry (A Pool), Huntsville Davicor (B Pool)
ATOM – Parry Sound Home Building Centre (A), Huntsville McDonalds (B)

PEEWEE – Parry Sound Harry’s No Frills (A), Huntsville HRC Insurance (B)
BANTAM – South Muskoka Muskoka Highlands (A), Almaguin Ice Devils (B)
MIDGET – Huntsville Aben Graphics (A), Parry Sound Doherty’s Masonry (B)

Our executive are committed to continuing to work hard to improve both the product on, as well as the product off the ice. Discussion has already begun regarding plans for next season. 2019-20 is just around the corner!

Finally, A HUGE THANK YOU to you. We would not be at all where we are without the support and dedication of you folks. From players to parents to volunteers to referees, this is your league and your continued loyalty has not gone unnoticed.

Thank you again everyone. Enjoy the brief off-season and see you at the rink in 2019-20.
