It is with mixed emotions that the Muskoka-Parry Sound Executive bids farewell to two of their long time members, John Hiley and Marcel Waters. John will not be returning to the Secretary position for the 2018/19 season, while Marcel will be sitting as Past President. Both gentlemen have been leaders in shaping our MPS community over the years.
John began his volunteering with Bracebridge Minor Hockey where he served on their Board and also managed many of his son’s teams. Marcel started off with Gravenhurst Minor Hockey and was a key member in the amalgamation that is South Muskoka Minor Hockey today. Both men are long term MPS Executive members as well. John as Secretary / Statistician and Marcel as Centre Contact as well as President for the past 2 seasons. Thank you to John and Marcel for your dedication to the sport of hockey and for all of your hard work throughout the years. We wish you both all of the best in your future.
